Services / Web development

Custom websites and web applications, built to be owned.

From a focused small-business site to a complete platform with accounts, payments and operational data. Designed around your business, built without template lock-in, and handed over with the source code.

A website should do more than exist.

A useful site explains the offer quickly, earns trust and moves the right visitor toward a decision. When the job is larger, the same foundation can support customer accounts, dashboards, billing, data and the backend services underneath them. I handle that complete path so design, frontend, APIs and deployment do not become four disconnected projects.

Best for — Businesses replacing templates, spreadsheets or inflexible SaaS

This is usually a fit when

  • 01Your current website looks dated, loads slowly or no longer reflects the business.
  • 02A template or page builder cannot support the workflow, content or integrations you need.
  • 03Customers or staff need a secure portal, dashboard, booking flow or account area.
  • 04Important forms still end in an inbox instead of the CRM, database or operating system.
  • 05You need a codebase your own team can maintain after launch.
[01]Deliverables

What the engagement can include.

The final scope uses only what the problem needs. These are the common building blocks, not a bundle designed to make a quote larger.

  1. 01

    Marketing websites

Responsive landing pages and multi-page sites with clear information architecture, purposeful copy structure and conversion paths.

  2. 02

    Web applications

Accounts, permissions, dashboards, payments, reporting and operational workflows built around real product requirements.

  3. 03

    Content management

A CMS where it adds value, configured so your team can update content without being able to break the design system.

  4. 04

    Search and performance foundations

Semantic HTML, crawlable navigation, metadata, structured data, sitemap, analytics and a measured performance budget.

  5. 05

    Integrations and data

Forms, CRMs, payments, email, booking tools and databases connected through documented, retry-safe APIs.

  6. 06

    Launch and handover

Domain, SSL, deployment, monitoring and documentation, followed by support and full source-code ownership.

[02]Approach

How the work moves from idea to production.

Short feedback loops keep the scope honest and surface the difficult decisions while they are still inexpensive to change.

  1. 01

    Scope the job

We define the audience, pages, workflows and integrations before assigning a price or choosing technology.

  2. 02

    Shape the experience

Content hierarchy and interface direction are agreed early, before production code makes changes expensive.

  3. 03

    Build in visible increments

You review working software on a staging URL each week, with functionality added in testable slices.

  4. 04

    Launch without lock-in

The production accounts, repository and infrastructure belong to you, with a documented handover after launch.

Production work behind the offer.

[04]Questions

Common questions about web development.

01Can you rebuild an existing website without losing its search visibility?
Yes. Existing URLs, content and backlinks are mapped before launch, then preserved or redirected deliberately. The migration plan includes canonicals, sitemap updates and post-launch crawl checks.
02Will I be able to edit the website myself?
If the site needs regular updates, I can include a CMS with editing controls for the content your team owns. Small, stable sites can stay code-managed to reduce complexity and maintenance.
03Do you work with designs from another designer or agency?
Yes. I can build from an established design system, work alongside a designer, or handle the interface direction as part of the engagement.

Have a web development problem?

Bring the current process, the constraint and the outcome you need. You will leave the first call knowing whether it is worth building and what the likely next step looks like.
