Usually not. The first option is to connect and extend the systems you already pay for. Custom software is used when their native automation cannot safely express the workflow.

Yes. I can trace unreliable workflows, add observability and retries, simplify duplicated logic, or migrate a critical process away from a brittle setup.
03How do we know whether automation is worth the cost?
